Am I guaranteed to see wildlife during my stay?
Although you probably will see some wildlife on your stay there is never any guarantee as wildlife are unpredictable and weather, time of day, and seasons can all affect their patterns. Also the type of wildlife you want to see will also make a difference. Large animals such as moose and bears can be seen but require patience and make require a little work to find them. Birds and and small animals are more abundant. As your guide I will make ever effort to take you to areas to capture wildlife.
What’s included ?
The Bunkie has 2 single beds for you and your partner and there is an electric fireplace for those cool nights. A TV is provided with a VCR in case of really bad weather. There is a BBQ and propane is provided. The kitchen also has electricity with a full fridge, electric stove, coffee maker, and microwave.
What’s not included ?
Meals are not included with your accommodations. The kitchen has all the the utilities and amenities to prepare your meals for your stay.
What to expect?
Weather can vary and one minute it can be sunny and bright to downpours and cloudy conditions that can make taking photos a challenge. At certain times of days and year the bugs can make your adventure a challenge as well. May, June, and July we begin with Blackflies, Mosquitoes, and Deer Flies. Having Bug Jackets, Insect repellant and proper clothing can help with these pests.
How do we dress while we are here?
Dress comfortably, with good waterproof walking/hiking boots or shoes.. Depending on the time of year weather can change from snow and frost in the mornings to 20 degrees and sunny in the afternoon. Layering your clothing and be prepared in the event of inclement weather can greatly enhance your stay and your enjoyment in the field.
How fit do I have to be?
Our adventures can be undertaken by anyone in a good state of health and fitness. Adventure is a part of our name and depending on what your up for some of your days may require hiking long distances and varying degrees of difficulty.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
In the event your must be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances your deposit is non refundable. Full payment for your stay is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival and once final payment is made part or all of the balance may be refunded or a credit may be transferred to a future date or stay. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation at any time.
